A guitar, a little curiosity, and a place to begin.
Friendly classical guitar lessons in Horsforth for all ages and abilities, in person or online.
Arrange an introductory lesson ↗Learning your way
I teach pupils of all ages and abilities, whether they want to take grade exams and work on complex techniques, or just to take up a fun new hobby.
Whilst I specialize in classical guitar (sometimes called Spanish guitar), I can teach a range of styles, and learning classical guitar gives lots of skills which can be transferred to other kinds of music.
Where we meet
I teach at my home in Horsforth, just off the Leeds ring road. I am available for lessons throughout the working week, including evenings, as well as on Saturdays.
I also teach over Zoom, for those who would feel safer that way, or for whom travelling to me is inconvenient.
Online lessons over Teams or similar available.
Fully DBS (CRB) checked.
Ask about a lesson time ↗“David sends helpful notes after every class for him to check back on during the week and these also make him more inclined to practice as he knows what to work on to improve.”
Shall we make
some music?
Tell me a little about yourself, your guitar playing, or the occasion you have in mind. I would be happy to talk it through.
